Having computer knowlegde has been an obligatory requirement for each position concerning education higher than high-school one. It is strictly demanded in each job announcement. Usually the applicant marks in his CV that he meets that requirement. But how can he prove that to the employer?
The European Software Institute (ESI) has developed a universal computer knowledge certificate that proves the skills and capabilities of people when using the information technologies. The method for estimating the candidate's skills is independent from the way of training. The system was launched for the first time in Spain in 2002 and is already disseminated in several EU countries and countries from all over the world. In Bulgaria and in the region it is distributed by the European Software Institute. your certificate The certificate is addressed to everybody. And is available to anybody. It is applicable where an independent evaluation of skills and knowledge of using information technologies is needed. It is suitable for the state administration and municipalities.
